The story

THE ARRIVAL

Before the performance, there was the transformation: costumes, movement, music and the unmistakable anticipation that comes before Seagull takes the stage.

THE PERFORMANCE

And then, the room changed. Seagull brought the spectacle of Carnival Calabar into an entirely different setting, turning the evening into a celebration of movement, culture and performance.

THE PEOPLE

Beyond the costumes and choreography, the performance was about people: the performers who carried the energy, the audience who received it, and the shared moment that made the evening memorable.

Beyond the parade route

A LITTLE BIT OF CALABAR, IN LAGOS

Seagull Band was born from the spirit of Carnival Calabar, but its story has never belonged to one street or one day on the calendar. Wherever the band performs, it carries a piece of Cross River with it: its colour, creativity, rhythm and sense of spectacle.

THE CARNIVAL NEVER REALLY STOPS.

BIPORAL was another chapter in the journey. And if this performance was anything to go by, there is plenty more to come.
